Job Title: Regional Sales Manager
Department: Commercial Department
Reports to: Commercial Manager

Job Purpose:
This position oversees all functions of the sales operation and marketing and provides leadership and direction to sales associates to ensure all business objectives are achieved.  

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Accomplishes marketing and sales human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, and assigning employees. They should be in a position to execute planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions.
  2. Achieves marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans, implementing customer-service standards, identifying trends; determining system improvements and implementing change.
  3. Meets marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
  4. Determines annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products, establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices, competition, supply, and demand.
  5. Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans.
  6. Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor’s share, and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business and establishing targeted market share.
  7. Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities, improving product packaging and coordinating new product development.
  8. Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs and anticipating new opportunities.
  9. Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  10. Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  11. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  12. Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  13. Handling the accountability process in the Mulwana way and ensuring that it is being executed through teams.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration or any other related field With experience of not less than 3 years of working in FMCGs
